I live in a little village called Lemo in Tana Toraja about 310 km from Makassar. You need to use a bus to reach here because this is far away from Makassar. You may get seasick on a bus because it is rocking so much. Although it’s a long way and hard to enjoy the bus trip, It is well worth the effort . Since the panorama is beautiful. You may see lots of rice fields, lots of gardens being grown. The most interesting part from Tana Toraja is actually a cemetery. People carved holes into the wall of rock and they have built statues to hold ashes or bodies of the people that have passed away. It’s a super unique ritual where the higher up the person is the higher the rank obviously.

Speaker 2 :
Gili Nanggu is one of the popular islands in my province, Nusa Tenggara. It is about 27 km from Mataram to Lembar Harbour and then use a speed boat or boat for about 35 to 45 minutes to reach this island. The long struggle to get to this place is worthed since you can see a scenic island with the weirdly green blue water and feel peaceful ambiance. It’s like heaven. When I was there, I did not get to go snorkeling due to a little bit of miscommunication. Essentially people there didn’t speak good English and didn’t provide any masks and snorkels for us.

Speaker 3: I live in a rural area at Nusa Penida. It is very famous in a collection of three Nusa Islands. It is home of the Kelingking beach and one of the most famous Instagram locations of Southeast Asia: the T-Rex Kelingking viewpoint. You can have a panoramic view of verdant cliffs, limestone, and crystal clear water. There are some great attractions also for the visitors such as go snorkeling, scuba diving, and deep-sea fishing. Sadly for me, when I dive I found the damaged coral reef probably because of tourism activities, for example the diver who stepped on the coral reef. It is so unfortunate to see.
